KATSU JT05, Dual-Tone G10 Handle, Stonewashed Finsh AUS-8 Steel Reverse Tanto Blade

This is a quality knife. I didn’t know anything about this brand, but I was drawn to the Higonokami traditional style, but with an updated liner lock. The G10 is nice, the lockup is rock solid, the blade shape is perfect for my daily needs, the bearings are super smooth, and I love the stonewash on the blade.
The knife came extremely sharp, and it has a very stiff detent. It takes a little while to break it in, but it’s not going to open in my pocket. AUS-8 is a great tough steel for me, and I love this knife as much as the snake wood Damascus liner lock higo style knife that Katsu also makes that I purchased.
With there being so many “hard use, tacticool” knives out there, it’s nice to daily carry a well made tool with some class.

The Katsu Estate is truly amazing. I've originally ordered the Katsu JT05 ( Stonewashed Finish) But, I've received the black bladed version, by mistake. Emailed Katsu immediately and Katsu was steadfast addressing the mix up. I received my corrected order within 5 to 7 business days , and, ( this is the best part 😁) Katsu let me keep the black bladed JT05 for the trouble. World 🌍 Class Customer Service 🙏
