KATSU GK01, G10 Handle & D2 Steel Blade, Leather Sheath

I currently own the CK01, GK01, and the ZK02 Katz knives. So you can see I have a bias toward these knives.
The CK01 arrived in perfect condition with an incredibly sharp blade which had polished bevels and slightly rounded crown which I love. Since the blade arrives extremely sharp, simple periodic honing is all that’s needed.
Everything about this knife was perfection. I cannot believe a person can get such quality at this price point.
I really have no need for the leather case which comes with each knife. Since this model has no pocket clip, I keep it in the cloth bag while pocket carrying.

The blade is sublime! The secondary bevel is very even and so small you can hardly see it. The action is silky smooth and the handles look gorgeous :) I personally very much like the lack of a pocket clip, although I know others don't. It adds to the nice simplicity of the design which is already established by the absence of a front flipper and by the single rear stand off post.

Love the feel and design of the knife. The manufacturing quality is fantastic och it comes superbly sharp, right out of the box. Quite a beautiful knife! Only negative I have to say is the opening mechanism. It's a bit hard to open with one hand. Even when getting used to one-handed opening, I still pinch the bottom om my index finger from time to time when opening it one-handed. It could just be my hand size or technique, so others might not have the same problem.

i really like this knife so far! comes SUPER sharp! the folding action is somewhat tight, and the blade is somewhat thicker than i had expected... none of these things are negative, but observations.
